I grew up in Little Laurel and this is where I learned to swim. This is my mom's picture it was taken in 1951. She also swam there. My mom said it was named the Blue Hole not because the water was blue in color but because it was blue cold. I can sure vouch for that! I still loved swimming there in the summer no matter how cold. This place is one of my favorite childhood memories.
