The spring of 1941 this Richwood West Virginia Paper Mill was producing paper but the shortage of raw materials and outdated machinery forced it to close About 1942.

This photo shows you the site of the former mill taken on July 2009, the mill was between the motel and the Cherry River Elementary School, and the Cherry Riveris right across from the motel.
