Lower Falls, at Falls of Hills Creek Scenic Area; Richwood, W.Va. The Scuttle Butt that I have been told was the Lower Falls of Hills Creek is the second highest waterfall in West Virginia and a three quater mile hike down the trail between the upper and lower falls. A dense growth of trees, which the rhododendrons, mountain laurel and ramps flourished most vigorously along the Hills Creek waterfalls that provided rich soil and relatively low light. At the end of the trail, two viewing decks provide a great photographic opportunity or simply appreciate the 63 foot waterfalls refreshing effects. | (Back to Attractions near Richwood WV)See a problem with this page?
