(2) - Lloyd Spencer, help with some of the names of the fenwick grade school 1955---1956-- 1st grade.
I was thrilled to come across this picture as I surfed the web. My name is Lloyd Spencer and I grew up in Fenwick and attended the school until we moved to Craigsville in 1960. Fenwick, Craigsville, and Richwood will always have a place in my heart. My family and I now live in Lexington, North Carolina where I am the Pastor of Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ. It just so happens that I have my copy of the first grade class of 1955-56 and many years ago I put the names on it that I was sure of. I appreciate the job that all the people did in remembering as many of us as they did and I think I can help with a few more. I'm afraid that I can't help with any more in row one. Row 2 the fourth, fifth, and sixth people I am absolutely sure of. Number 4 is Melvin Helmick, Number 5 is Dixie Helmick, and Number 6 is your truly, Lloyd Spencer. Row 3 Number 1 is Arlene Vogel, Number 4 is Sonny Morris, Number 5 is Norma Murphey, Number 7 is Bobby Chapman, and Number 9 is Paul David Meadows Row 4 Number 2 is Roger Starcher I'm glad that I was able to help and I've bookmarked the site so I can come back to it often. (3)- Was looking at old pics from Fenwick Grade School 1955 & 1956 my name was not on but picture was, I am the first row last picture. Was Sandra Willis then. I am so thrilled to find this web site, and see and hear about old friends, places and things going on. We are going to try and come to ramp fest, I heard was to be this year April 29th 2008. Hope can find out for sure. Soooo very happy to see this web site. Don't get to visit Richwood very often, but love it when I do. Childhood memories wow!!!!!!!!
