(#400)    Thanksgiving dinner --- that's turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, pie and all the trimmings..... and coffee.... More than likely, we'll be going to Southside at my aunt Mamie house for Thanksgiving dinner..... When my aunt Mamie and my mother get together you can't stop laughing about their growing up years in Richwood. Mamie literally have hundreds of old pictures of Richwood, I will try to scanned a few photos and submit them.... God Bless everyone in Richwood

(#399)    Happy fall ya'll! Greetings from the South. Hope all is well in the beautiful state of West Virginia and the wonderful town of Richwood. Just wanted to wish everyone I know back home a Happy Thanksgiving and to say I am thankful for this site because I have reconnected with people I hadn't heard from since graduating in 1989. I hope to do that again this year, as I visited about this time last year with pretty good results. Heartfelt hello's to all my family and friends Terri (Davis), Charmin (needs no last name!), and Leanne (Chambers) and her family. Hope to see you in a few weeks when we make our annual trek up before the Christmas holidays. Until then take care and send an email once in a while guys! Love to you all. Keep up the good work webmaster! Caryn Frazer Graham

(#398)    Hey, I enjoyed looking for family members in the pictures!! My mom was born and raised in Richwood, and is in one of the school class pictures! Her name is Marietta Barnett (maiden name). I want to come visit the area next summer, is the little hotel (can't remember the name) next to the river still there? It was a privately owned one. I don't guess the one by the waterfalls ever opened back up by chance?

(#393)    I just found this site by accident. Went to school in Dane, around 1947, attended 1st grade, then moved to Webster County and graduated from Cowen High School in 1959 before moving to Ohio. West Virginia is a beautiful state. Sometimes I get homesick.

(#386)    Just browsing and came across your great web site. For all you out there thinking of paying a visit to West Virginia, I suggest you take a detour from the usual tourist destinations and head up to Richwood and Nicholas County. I like the page about the West Virginia Attractions Near Richwood.
