The 1959 basketball photo from Richwood Grade School...............was taken in March 1960, 8th grade class of '59-'60. I remember all those boys well...........the Richwood Grade Cheerleaders photo was from the same tournament..........and I remember cheering for that very team as one of the cheerleaders.

Two of the unknowns are:
Top row, 3rd boy is Bob Sharp. Bottom row, 3rd boy holding the trophy is Bill Bailey. Who could forget Bill Bailey, our top scoring player, on RGS team that won the tournament. The cheerleaders won the trophy for best cheering section that same year, March 1960.

I love this site it is one of the best! I can identify two of the unknown People in the photo of the 1959 basket ball teama. Bill Bailey who was one of the star players is my Uncle. The man on the Left is Bill's brother, & my Dad: Lester Bailey Jr. He was assistant coach. The man on the Right was Lester Bailey SR. My Grandfather & Head coach.
