| | | | A three year old horse, named Blaze has died after being viciously attacked by predators at Simmons Creek Road near Churchville, West Virginia December 2008, there was a large amount of blood on the ground. The jugular vein had been pierced and the horse bled to death.Many speculated that the horse was killed by Mountain Lions based on the large paw prints left around the scene. We are not sure the "Beast" was a Mountain Lion or not, paw print are clearly visible on the photo but are they canine or Mountain Lion, we are not sure. That's not to say that there is not a Mountain Lion in the wild of Churchville, West Virginia.  Home |
